I had a quick question - suppose I had the Vengeance Rune, and someone else had the Shambler Rune. If the shammy hit me, who recieves the damage from the vengeance - the player, the shammy, or both?

I had this happen yesterday and when the shammy hit me, I heard it groaning like it was getting hurt. I never considered this before so that's why I was curious.

If I am correct, both feel the pain. Then when the Shammy's 400 health diminishes to 0 he respawns close to his master.

I checked his health when you switch with him via rune.

since the shambler is a seperate entity from you (has its own health and armor rating and can be killed) only the shambler feels pain if it is the one that deals damage. other support runes like the death orb do not. thusly, if your death orb attacks a player with vengence, you receive damage. not the orb.

Shamblers have 600 health. Is that not the case in Runequake?

rune-spawned shammies only have 400h. they are, however, resistant to explosives like normal shammies are :)
