I would like to run a totally automatic client side bot to quake server (NQ server). who knows this kind of bot? what I mean is not proxy, it is a totally automatic bot just like human player. I know the Mikebot, but I can't run it well. Is there any else bot you know? thanks |

I use the Terminator bot at quake.xoc.net:26666. I've made a few modifications to both the bot and the server. The bot is completely autonomous; each instance runs as a separate process and connects to the server just like a regular player. Terminator isn't the most lifelike or skilled of bots, but it keeps the server from being empty and gets an occasional frag. |

Check out the Runebots at Nygma.Essentrix.Net They can be downloaded at http://nygmafiles.essentrix.net under "runebot". I couldn't tell you which version to download though, haven't messed with them ina while. Try Runebot.exe. it willself-install into your quake dir. and you can play runes against practice bots offline. They use the runes and hook all over the place. Just try playing them at my server first to get a feel for them. |
