I had an epiphany. Since Zopmod2 lets you hold two different runes, what about adding effects and attacks based on your current combination?

I'd drop the number of different runes, and make them more generic-sounding names (Fire, Elec, Air, Tech, Chaos, and Life), and give them an individual always-on effect:

Fire burn on touch
Elec zap nearby enemies
Air 20% resist -not too fitting...
Tech regenerate ammo -a bit weak...
Chaos 20% damage increase
Life regenerate health

Each one would get a different modelWhen you got any two, you'd gain an activatable ability. (Tech and Fire allow fire traps) I'm not sure about adding another always-on effect, because it's already a bunch to learn and get used to. But, making a lot of something new isn't something I've tried yet... Balance will be key.
