Lardarse said that with speed run mode on, additional weapons aren't provided on spawn even if a level is earned. He was using listen mode, I don't know if this affects dedicated (LAN/public server).

he was most likely using an old version that does not fix losing xp and level on death in speedrun mode.

Unavoidable consequence of listen server running a dedicated-style mod because client and server share memory in single player mode.

Noted in manual.

Solution: Either don't use speedrun mode in single player or launch -dedicated and connect to it.

I tried it on Rocketguy's server when it was running 1.1.088

It's fixed now in 1.1.089

Speedrun mode doesn't like being voted in in single player mode. You need to set teamplay to 2048 manually.

terra4 has no spawnpoints...

And I'm working on getting the spawnpoints "fixed" (meaning in less stupid places, and facing the right way)

Hey I did a good job on most of the maps :D :D :D

(And I don't speedrun mode will work properly in single player no matter what you do, but I could be wrong)

And what client are you using? If you aren't using ProQuake, JoeQuake, Qrack or DarkPlaces, you should get one of those engines, other engines generally have a fault that prevent them from proper internet play in a lot of circumstances (the latter 3 being better looking, ProQuake is reliable and oldskool GLQuake style):

Probably not the right thread for this, but the map sm40zwei (The Box Factory) is not fully coop compatible, there's an ambush room that shuts a door behind you and no one can get back into the ambush room after everyone in there dies...

Sajt and I ran into this on the coop.runequake.com:26003 server today, we disconnected at this point to get some sleep :)
