 Post subject: I've been doing some real voodoo

And no, I'm not talking about the old video card... I sorta figured out a way to load elements from other maps into different maps. Here you can see one of those smashers from e1m7 is loaded into dm2.

That's real nice work there :) - I can see that pillar there would change a lot of the strategic element to this level - a welcomed addition.

For ex. it would be loads of fun to sit on the tiny ledges, while gaining an aerial view of that crucial mid-level area. It would also offer a different yet interesting approach to hopping from one side to the other, while perhaps also making it harder in doing so :)

Well, it wasn't really the intention on that level, but it was the one where I realized that if you pre cache a level BSP it will load those elements as well. However it would seriously screw up the map you did load. So now it seems the order in which you would preload a map would matter if you wanted to load other map elements. Or if you just want to try and load another map over the existing map as a func_wall and really create something weird.
