Um just though of something while thinking of halflife... HL2 has a new gravity gun that allows the player to point and pick up items from a distance. This would be cool to see in runequake like to pickup ammo or armor from a distance or push players away etc.. maybe? |

The PainKeep mod has an air gun that pushes players, ammo, and weapons all around the level. I don't like the idea of moving weapons and ammo around the level though. It's fun for a little while, but after that I just want to know my RL and rockets will be there when I come looking for it. In addition, you could use the grapple to sling shot ammo and weapons your way! From what I understand, you can alter the position of ammo in HL2 (MP) and it will respawn back to its normal position if not picked up in a while. I wonder if that would be less annoying. |

Heh, painkeep, back in college my friends and I used to play that mod a lot in the computer lab. The air gun was great, you could blow away rockets heading towards you, blow players around (or into lava), or use it rocket jump style. The gravity well in PK was awesome too, basically the same as rq's tornado, but in PK you couldn't grapple to a wall . |
