Hi Slot, could you tell us more about the in-game muting functions you introduced last week?

In order for the mute feature to work, the server has to be ProQuake 3.00 or higher. The reason is I piggy-back off of ProQuake's built-in mute feature. The code for mute isn't in the current release but will be available in Rune Quake 1.4.

I know this is old but I would kill for this command to be implemented.

I dunno how the muting code works but I'd like something like /ignore in mIRC. You could either do /ignore 1.2.3.xxx or /ignore *username*

What would be even nicer is if it was client side so your ignore list would follow you between servers and restarting the quake client. :?

I couldn't agree more.
