Post subject:  Rune Making, Live?

I was just thinking... would anyone be interested in watching a rune (or runes) being created live? It's not as long and boring as you might imagine. Someone could present a rune idea in chat and I could make it on a stream with real time feed back.

As a newbie game coder I find things like this quite inspiring so I would certainly like to watch a stream (time differences permitting). Perhaps some of the guys over on Quakeone.com/Quaddicted/Func might find it interesting too?

Are these runes being created and then deployed immediately? Like, if you made a rune tonight. Could I connect an hour or so later and pick them up in-game??

wth... Are the 2014 dates for when you mentioned attempting the github stuff correct? I could have swore those posts was from just recently,like really recently.

No, they won't be deployed. It'll be another fork of Rune Quake. Maybe Mr. Burns would run them? Right now I'm just focusing on a set of new runes and release that. Each topic I make in regards to new runes means I've coded them.

Sure, if there are any updates to RQP I'll be happy to update the New York server for you (newyork.servequake.com:26010). Alternatively, if you are thinking of going in a different direction and are producing a new mod I'm sure we could sort you out another port.
