Please don't be idle on the server during peak usage times. It's not considerate to take up a slot when others are trying to connect.

The server was full today but three people, who had been on the server for more than 3 hours, were in observer mode w/out chatting. As soon as I kicked them one by one, a new player connected -- which suggests that people were waiting to play.

If you have a justifiable reason for being in observer mode for an extended period of time during peak hours, let the admins know.

If Slot wanted to, he could make it so someone completely idle for 15 minutes was automatically disconnected.

I myself don't really know if this is a real problem.

Maybe this option AFK like in crmod should be added to the server.

setafk - Set time (minutes) before a player is marked as afk (use 'skill')
kickafk - Set time (minutes) before an afk player is kicked (use 'skill')
