I privated messaged you my msn.

I tried out those maps (except for the few I couldn't) and all of them look outstanding.

One problem is that I have tried probably about 150 maps and a great many of them play the same.

I would classify the maps into these categories:

1. Those that play like Aerowalk (multi-level).

2. Those that are spread out with lots of ramps and wide hall ways.

Do you know of any maps that play like the ExMy maps that are solid for deathmatch? Slipgate, Elder God Shrine, Palace of Hate type maps?

It would be nice to have a variety in the set.

In particular, more narrow halls (but not like super narrow), map control points, areas that excellent to camp, etc.

Btw that oktest1 was large, hehe. It could probably hold 256 players. :D

Hehe, could you direct me to where I can download that ;)

Still looking for a DM6 clone, but other than that I'd say that a legally free (and mostly better maps) Quake is almost done.

We can use END2 instead of End ;) END2 was released freely as an alternate END map, meaning it can be distributed.

Ok, I found those and tried them out and they rock!

You truly are the map master!

The E4M3 Elder God Shrine is the same but without the part of the map that doesn't really "fit" in a game (that Zombies area).

Available maps:

E2M2TDM
E2M7TDM
E3M2TDM
E3M3TDM
E3M6TDM
E3M7TDM
E4M3TDM

There are also E1M3, E1M5 and E1M6 clones, although those maps are available in shareware. The TDM versions are better in many ways, although most of the maps need some weapons merged into them with QBSP and the E1M3 map generated an error when I used the exit teleporter. This can probably somehow be fixed. The TDM maps are cool.

Still need:

An adequate DM6 clone, maybe a DM2 clone and a maps that are non-DM style (versus monster type of maps that are linear and a little spread out, but not too big).

A DM5 clone would be nice.

A better DM3 substitute would still be nice, that blt map is like DM3 but something is lacking play style-wise.

But those last 2 are not absolutely necessary (DM3, DM5).

Those maps worked out great. Yellow, Zop and I toured some of those maps and all the ones we looked at were excellent and very playable.

How'd you do in your tournament game?

I like almost every map you have pointed out. Those DM maps actually play better than the real ones in most ways.

Do you have any good playing space maps, moon maps, city maps or anything unusual?
