Haha. Well wouldn't expect much from a couple of dumbasses. First of all, Slot has always cheated. Secondly, WeirdQ caught cheating. Proved you wrong again. As for the rest, you will never be sure they haven't cheated, with the exception of magnesium, who I never thought cheated.

Hi, I'm urdead. I don't work in a "computer store", I work for a large 23-state corporation in Des Moines, Iowa. I have 15 years of networking and security experience, professional, and 25 years personal experience. I've programmed in many different languages, but really dislike programming. I even know how to use edlin...LOL! . Baker once touched a piece of code and then thought he knew it all. He thinks IP means "I gotta pee". How ignorant he is now. He has no idea how people cheat, yet he thinks it's impossible, because cheat-free is almighty! It just like saying, "I can never be hacked because I have a firewall". It's amazing how many people get hacked everyday because of this false and ignorant sense of security. He should goto work for one of the Universities who get hacked all the time. He'd fit right in. He never thinks outside the box. He doesn't realize that Angel himself has hacked cheat-free 3 times. He doesn't realize that programs outside the program can help cheaters, such as OS video drivers that produce wireframes. He doesn't realize that things like this are not seen by the client. He doesn't realize this because he ignorently does not think outside his lil box.
Now I know that those of you, Funkify if I remember correctly, who are computer literate know exactly what I'm talking about and understand the dangers of feeling secure behind so-called "protective" devices. So, really, I don't expect the dumbasses here to understand, in fact, I expect more dribble from tweedle-dee and tweedle-dumbass, so I'll make my point once and then be done with it, hopefully maybe somoene can open their mind a bit and learn something.
BTW,
Slot=Cheater
WeirdQ=Cheater - Proven
And everyone else could've cheated at any time, it doesn't have to be all the time. I was proven right about weirdy, And you were proven wrong. That makes me 1 ahead of you, back-stabber baker. You have yet to prove me wrong. And your lil cheat-free BS is definately not 100% solid evidence. Cheat-free is NOT 100% cheat-free. It's too bad you can't see that. But, who cares?
Edit: Here's what John Caramack says about trying to make Quake cheat-free:
Quote:
Nothing in online games is cheat-proof (there is allways the device
driver level of things to hack on) (urdead: Hmmm...this looks familiar, messing with the device drivers...sorta like video drivers...hmmm...maybe I know what I'm talking about huh?), but that would actually be more
secure than the game as it originally shipped, because hex edited patches
wouldn't work any more. Someone could still in theory hack the closed
source programs, but that is the same situation everyone was in with
the original game.
IOW, cheat-free? Never happen. There's always a way around it, as Angel found out, and others as well.
