Chuck, you made an AVI movie from a quake demo once. Can you post a link to that file? I received an error back then on my Win 98 machine when I tried to view the file. I would like to recreate the error and hopefully solve it and post it for everyone's benefit if I can (with a codec download location). |

A long time ago I used to have a Windows Media Player Codec that would allow playing QuickTime's .mov format... and I hate QuickTime, wish I could find it again. Btw, do you have the latest divx drivers installed Baker? http://www.divx.com sometimes they're needed to watch some .avi files |

If you post a link to the file, I have a program called Mplayer (not a Windows player but it can use Windows codecs) that does just about everything and gives very detailed info as far as what Windows codec a file is encoded in etc. I even use the program to watch TV sometimes:) MagnesiuM |

I deleted all the Quake movies as I recall. I needed to free up some space at my files site. http://nygmafiles.essentrix.net |
