My new host offers new possibilites. I added some stats to the servers page. http://www.runequake.com/servers/ Let me know if you find this useful and I'll work on something more elaborate. Thanks |

Would be nice if you could display the names of the players in the game and maybe even the frag count. I've seen this done on another board. BTW, some guy came on SINGED the other night that used to play 5 or 6 years ago. He found the server from this website and in this case via the old runecentral DNS. edit: oops nevermind.. I see the number of players is listed and that's probably better than having random numbers of rows to display player names. |

I'm going to link each server and have it generate it's own page that has player statistics as well as some server settings which can be gathered from the server rules. |

I am trying to do the same using qstat, found some nice pearl scripts that I up-loaded to my webhost, but I am unable to get them working. There are some PHP scripts out there also that work with qstat, but setting them up has boggled my mind. Was doing some reading on Qstat. They have a windows version already compiled, I believe I can not use that same EXE on my webhost. If this is the case, I think I need easier direction on compiling my own version. Thats alittle out of my leage. Here is what I am working on... http://www.msmcs.net/cgi-bin/q1mon.cgi |

NOTE: I was tired when I first posted this. I was experimenting with a Postnuke Module that worked with Qstat a while back. I compiled Qstat for Linux but never had the time (or patience) to get it working. You can download my compiled version here. It might work or it might not. I settled on just linking to this site which does pretty much what I want anyway (WITHOUT THE ADS!). |

Nice work, Chuck. I was able to create a status link on my page by simply replacing nygma with singed. Back a few years ago, they used to call me the JCL bandit, hehe! |

Can anyone here compile QStat to be up-loaded to a UNIX server? Seems that is what is keeping the query pages that I am using from working. |

I use Qstat in Linux (Slackware 8.1). Here's my server status page: http://www.ihoc.net/cgi-bin/servers-quake I think Jackhole also uses Qstat: http://www.quakeboard.net/quake.cgi (If that server is empty try this one instead.) |

I've linked the number of players on the server so that the individual players will pop-up when you put the mouse over the link. Click the link to lock them in place. |
