If you wanted to buy your own copy of Quake, Quake 2, and any other ID game, download and install the latest Steam and purchase them yourself. http://www.steampowered.com/ For such an old game, its hard finding a copy at your local game store. Well not anymore. Even ID's newer games like DOOM3 can be bought from your Steam account. I am not sure how long Valve has been doing this, but I thought I would let all of you know. my guess is that the music on quake 1 and quake2 does not work right? since it looks for the cd for the background music |

Yes, you must have the CD for the background music. Just pop any Audio CD in while your playing. |
