I press the jump button and the hook buttons at the same time allowing me to move faster. No I don't jump much besides that unless I am showing off my awsome rocket-jumping skills. Splat!

I have noticed that when playing free-hook, I don't think I ever jump (actually, I do ... but so rarely) |

Jumping, especially while moving sideways, is a popular dodging technique. It also sometimes helps to fire while jumping to get a better angle. If your asking what I think your asking, yes I jump. toyo |

Yeah, Toyo, that's about the only time I find myself jumping ... RL fights trying to get a good angle. 
And Chuck, great tip, thanks! I'll be employing that one!
