[size=24]Cool! Images are turned on!

:cry:

Oops, I meant to turn them off.

Some images screw up the the way the page is displayed in older browsers. Also, if an image is not available, or the host is slow, it slows down the site.

Sorry,

Wanted to put this post in the Technical thread but got a message that only moderators can post there. Hasn't someone found a way to import messages from another board so you don't have to start over?

I locked posting on the technical thread because I wanted it to be a reference for faqs and technical issues withouth the distraction of reader comments. I will move the technical data (from the old forum) to the new forum when I have more time. I'm not sure if Baker is going to resume his place as Technical Moderator, but if anyone wants to help out, e-mail me.

As far as importing the messages from the old board is concerned, I don't really have the time (and experience with php/mysql) to write a conversion script. I've made the old board available at the old location though (posting disabled):

Thanks,

So I guess that means these boards don't have an automated function built-in to facilate a conversion. Was hoping there might be tools available as I'd like to move away from EZboard without starting over.

From posts I've seen on another board I get the impression Baker is unlikely to return until CLQ resumes statistics for Rune Quake. It is odd that they have chosen to ignore the mod.

So does eliminating a message board.

Those messages we're indexed in a few web crawlers, now their gone. What's the difference?

The directory now forwards to the new location. Any links referenced via web crawlers can still be accessed.

Thanks,
