If you go to "Profile" you can select an Avatar. There aren't enough, there need to be more, but you can enter in ANY URL as your avatar.

No, it stores it at this site. It uploads it from your disk or "uploads" it from a URL and resizes it and stores it HERE. This isn't an EzBoard, it doesn't work how you are concerned it might, but it is an understandable concern. |
