hey hon, Download THIS GL client " http://www.mtown.com/Downloads/Executab ... aketen.zip "

Unzip it to your Quake directory [eg : C:\Quake\]

Use this as your Quake Client that you play online with,It will help TONS on your ping/playability aspect. It will improve your playability and will improve your PING ~somewhat~ , after you download and install/unzip it,come back to Widomaker and tell me if you can tell a difference!!!

If you can run GLQuake client's, or even DirectX Quake Clients , try those as well.

hey demi you never explained to me what happens when you tried running the normal QTEN client (Winquake Software version)

I'm sure if I cant help,if you post your information of whats going on , others here could help you get it running.

Hi mindz.... I tried that glqten program and it doesn't work. I put it in Gamespy "games and filters" and when I try and run it, it comes up with an error box that says "Quake Error - WGLCREATECONTECT failed". This is way beyond me.

Thanks for trying sweetie :)

slightly , but the differences arent as noticable for broadband users as they are for dialup users.
