Post subject:  NQuake/ezquake and buzzing noise

So I downloaded and installed nQuake- it runs just fine on its own but when I attempt to run rune quake I get a strange spawning issue with the runes. It seems there is some issue with how the runes spawn on the map and they will on occasion and cause a strange buzzing noise. Is this a known issue that can be resolved with some tweak?

I thought I addressed this. I'll DL the client and see if I can't recreate it. It sounds like you're talking about the 'tink' sound when runes touch surfaces in QW. Is it just start of level when all runes spawn or throughout?

Throughout- so what I do is try to find the ones causing the buzzing and pick them up. That stops it from happening. But as runes spawn in it re-occurs.

Apologies, you did resolve this. I was playing the latest official version, the latest compiled version doesn't have this problem. Thank you very much, I'm host this at a LAN party tomorrow and the buzzing was going to be a problem.
