Download now includes ALL of Woods lits, lumas and even flag models textures and player skins.
Installer is compatible with JoeQuake, QRack, Tremor and Quakeworld clients FuhQuake and EZQuake. Installs to id1\textures which is compatible with the texture handling for all of those engines.
Download: Woods CTF Texture Pack v0.5 - EZ Installer (4.18 MB)
Download: Woods CTF Texture Pack v0.5 - 7-Zip Format (3.95 MB)The above install is compatible with JoeQuake, QRack, Tremor and on the Quakeworld side: FuhQuake and EZQuake (and probably other clients but I can't keep track of them all).
I used the same techniques I've been using on Yellow's pack, the QRP pack and other stuff.
I created a 2X Resolution texture pack from Woods CTF pack. And these aren't exactly the best screenshots but they are the only ones I have right now.
It looks great, just like the other super-compressed packs but I've labelled this one version
0.5.
This pack decompresses to 10.3 MB. The original even compressed was around 130 MB.
It's version .5 because ...
1) I didn't convert the luma channels (I was tired)
2) I didn't convert the bump or gloss maps and I think JQ supports the bump maps, but I don't know if the gloss maps do anything in JQ. Isn't that only in Tenebrae?
3) It is only map textures and Woods added some excellent item textures and lits (colored lights).
Btw ... I didn't include his E4M3 textures. They were very similar to others and I imagine anyone really needing the E4M3 is going to want the rest of the ID maps as well using either the QRP pack or Yellow No. 5's or some other set.
I'll revisit the above items and make a version 1 installer after the JQ Launcher is completed.

For Woods (or anyone who is curious): there is an output log
http://forums.runecentral.com/viewtopic.php?t=915 . Among other things, it identifies missing textures in the pack and ones that weren't actually needed, which is otherwise almost impossible for someone to determine manually.
