Does it work? I set cl_confirmquit to both 0 and 1 but I still have to press "y" to confirm that I want to quit (both when going thru menu and writing quit in console). Isn't this cvar all about removing the nag screen? |

well, it doesn't work through the menu that's right (intended) but - for me - it works from the console. |

Seems like you got a magic voice or something. Cause it works in console for me too now. And I've had cl_confirmquit in the autoexec all along =D |

Well... typing quit on the console has as far as I remember always exited every quake engine without the nag screen. Isn't that right? It works in Joequake no matter what cl_confirmquit is set to. So still, I can't figure out how to use cl_confirmquit. It seems it has no effect, at least for me. And here's a small trick to quit quake immediately: bind q "toggleconsole; quit" q will now quit quake without any further notice. |

doesnt "quit;quit" quit also without the nagscreen? bound to a key it should end immediately |
