Post subject:  Couple of Qrack "Bugs" ?

All of these have to do with Runequake:

1. When an "anti-pack" rune is dropped in Proquake, it has a bunch of glowing orange dots coming off of it. In Qrack I don't see any such thing. It looks like a normal dropped pack.

2. When someone has the Vengence Rune, their head usually changes models. In Qrack it doesn't for me?

I'm using the default Qrack setup with most of R00k's config

First off, try toggleparticles, or you know turn QMB particles off, try the anti pack, see how it behaves then use QMB particles... etc what i want is, if normal particles in JQ or qrack are different and how so from norm

I dont do anything offhanded as for anti-packs directlym but this might be an issue for both qrack and jQ

Steve, I don't know about the backpack problem you have, but a gib filter in any engine will make it so you can't see Vengeance heads so use cl_gibfilter 0 and that problem will go away.

Yeah I've been harassing sput about the antipacks for months :)
You can see a tiny bit of blood if you look real close, but it's very hard to notice, not like with classic particles. I've just learned to be real cautious about picking up a bunch of packs in one place...

well, (old thread), but the color on particles are darker cause the actual image is darker, u can modify the image if u like, but also now with decals the blood spurts splat on the floor thus creating a pool around the pack, so..
if u see a backpack sitting in a pool of blood, leave it alone :O
