You were the one that got everyone interested in recording demos.

As time progressed, demo recording became a standard practice required to ban someone. Slot Zero requires such proof at his server; the TLTQ required demo proof at Widomaker.

This was a big improvement over arbitrary bans and often highly suspicious bans that happened at many servers.

What I find ironic is that although you had a hand in causing this to happen, you view yourself as the ONLY one in the universe NOT required to have proof to make cheating accusations.

Urdead could be sitting right next to you in lan tournament and still think you was cheating in some manner. Besides there still was no proof given in those so called LOGS on whatever server this was suppose to happen on with this bot accusation. Players that used bots in my opinion were easy to kill anyway because the thing got confused and couldn't aim for shit, the lock on lightning shaft was difficult to escape at times but all in all I never found it hard to beat up on players still using one.


You have some serious issues man if you stress out that bad about me over a silly game. You think you would have better sense by looks of how old you are... I know my Grandpa never made a ass out of himself like that.

This is exactly the reason why some people have left the game. The first few posts in this thread were from people thinking about coming back to the game. Let's hope they don't have a change of heart after reading all this crapola.

BTW, Urdead, why do you really care what is going on in the Quake community since you are no longer a participant? I'm sure you have better things to do with your time then dredge through old rubbish and post negative things about people.

Someone happy and content with his or her life certainly wouldn't devote energy to such a cause.

Wow I hadn't checked the forum in a while. This one really blew up with the accusations again, and they weren't toward me lol. Some people just don't know when to quit. Urdead. I guess it can't be helped.

It's good to hear a response from you Chuck, Weirdq, and everyone! I haven't gotten around to messing with Q1 again. I still remember that 1v1 with War as HPB's. Had lots of good/crazy 1v1's, really intense battles that alot of you have seen. I've watched alot of players come a long way in this game. Great battles Chuck! Every Quake player will always remember the great battles they fought, and saw.
