Yes, I am very anxious for this to happen. I think you shouldn't be so hasty to dismiss the TCPA.

Everyone please don't listen to Baker, he really hasn't thought this through, like I have. Support the TCPA!

Slot, even if you are mocking what I have to say, you did quote the best line of my post. If there is one thing I would want to communicate, it would be that.

The TCPA is scary but it's success is in doubt. I personally feel it is important that many individuals are aware of the TCPA because I view such awareness as a prerequisite to making the TCPA a commercial failure.

Remember those Intel Celeron chips that would allow web sites to track you individually on the internet, but everyone bitched about it an Intel disabled and removed the feature due to the outrage. I am hoping that sentiment can stop this from become commerically viable.

All kidding aside after reading more into the website this is some pretty scary shit and I wouldn't put it past Microsoft for one second to be in total ecstasy over something like this.

Mag, that web site does an OK job of conveying the issues, but I've seen much more informative sources. I would suggest searching for TCPA in google. Read both information in support of the TCPA and information against. And when you are done, tell a couple friends about the TCPA ... most people have not even heard of the TCPA, let alone know what it is.
