sinc3 you guys and possibly gals ar3 us3d to p3opl3 posting r3com3ndations in this forum, then i have an idea for a rune.

some run3 that when activat3d, it rotat3s the poss3ssion of your run3 to your last attack3r and you r3ci3v3 a n3w run3 from you last targ3t.

intr3sting???...?.

and if this post isnt hard to read then ill replace all the A's with 4's and G's with 6's and S's with 5's and O's with 0's :) lol just kidding.

so if anyone does think its a little extremo, how about you activate it on two people and it switches the runes between them.

how about instead of just between the attacker and you, it effects everyone in the game. Say it rotates the runes between the players (once). Players without a rune at the time have a chance in getting someone else's rune. You (the rune switcher) however will not get a rune. You simply lose the rune after use.

This could be a very helpful gamble when there's someone controlling the field with vengeance, blink, ratpack, etc.

So how about that alteration to your idea? :)

I don't think anyone here knows. I haven't played a game of Quake 3 in about 2 or 3 years and few here have played Q3 in years either, this is mostly a Quake 1 site.

Hey, I have an idea for a rune. When it is picked up, all players that have runes lose them. Then all players are frozen. Then the runes come alive and play the game and as they move over a person that person is picked up by that rune. For example, I'm frozen, a rune floats by and picks me up, since I'm a girl it turns pink and flirts with the other runes to see how many respond. It's really closer to what you guys that lay awake at night thinking of new runes want, no one playing the game, just the runes do.

I had an idea for a feature, not really a rune, that when frozen you could somehow transfer ammo (cells/rox) to a kind of self destruct to try to take out the individual shooting you (SNG timebombs). I dont know much about coding and developing such a thing, but it doesnt seem likely that it could be done. Any ideas/comments?
