Hey guys, do you think we can squeeze one last tourney in before the end of the year?

I propose on Friday the 29th we have one last 4v4 on QUAKE.CRMOD.COM:26001, different server but at the same time as last time 8PM PST which is 8pm on the West Coast here in Oregon.

I would also like to play a best of 5 series. In other words, first team to lose 3, instead of 2 is done.

Let me know if this is agreeable to everyone participating in both clans and get back to me on it.

Baker was mentioning the splash damage difference on Quake.CRmod.

I may want to finish this year off on Rage since the CR one is different. And then for the new year and the new tourneys maybe go 2 tourneys @Rage and then next 2 tourneys at Quake.CR. I dunno. New year new stuff. Really considering just finishing off the year of tourneys on Rage. Give time for everyone to get use to the other server also for those who haven't had a chance to yet.

Any thoughts?

Uh, these are Clan Wars. You would have to be in the SNS Clan to go against Frenzy.

Also, the CRmod and the Rage mod apparently are the same mod. So there's no difference.

Yes, but as Baker pointed out, when you log on it does say 'low splash damage enabled' which I guess makes it like ca+ which I've never played anyway. Plus I'm getting reports of people not being able to connect to CRMOD.

In consideration of the connection problems people are having and the splash damage change with CRMOD we'll just finish this year of tourneys on Rage.Quakeone.Com:26001

That way we all have time to work out with everyone what's going on with the CRMOD server.

quake.crmod.com:26001 isn't running in cheat-free mode and no one should have any problems connecting to it. I connected to it with JoeQuake.

Just FYI.

k so quake.crmod.com:26001 is ca?
ok, i was confusing it with 26000

i think the diff between ca and team dm, is that there are no weaps, powerups or armor to be picked up right?

so can i be in SNS already to participate in this or what?
do i have to beg???? lol
i think i made i purdy clear indication that i'd like to be in the turney.

whoever in charge of SNS tell me what i gotta do to join the clan.
although i havent been quaking SNS, i think i can be a worthy addition to this clan :P

Thanks,
-T.

Phenom runs SNS, register at http://sns.evilpsp.com

I private messaged him telling him you want to join.

quake.crmod.com:26001 runs CAx; the same mod as Rage/Bomber.

The tourney is still set for tonight 8pm PST. That's 8pm West Coast and 11pm East Coast etc.

The server. Rage.Quakeone.com:26001.

The tourney: BEST OF 5

Most likely it will be a 4v4 but a few TUs seem to be getting hung up with other stuff on this date so it might go 3v3. But that's doubtful.

I keep asking my clan what 3 maps we want to use for our 3 to choose from and so far I've gotten no response. I might just have to pull 3 choices out of a hat. I may just choose 'The Longest Yard' as the 5th one. Haha!

SNS gets to choose 2 maps in case it goes 5 rounds.

As an update, not enough SNS members showed up to tourney on the above given date and the tourney turned into a TU vs. SNS practice scrimmage.

All things consdered, the next TU vs SNS 4v4 tourney will have to be put on the backburner for the time being.
